I had the same problem and I fixed it by disconnecting from the internet. The disc software will probe to see if there is an active connection. If there is, it will try and authenticate via cookies then download the required web content. If it doesn’t detect an internet connection, it will disable to web content and load the disc without it. So, disconnect your PC from the internet and the disc will load the HD DVD menu.

Hi, I had the same problem to and fixed by disconnecting the network connection before starting the HD DVD, if you re connect the Network and web enabled features still dont work but at least you can watch the 4 episodes. I reported all of this to cyberlink who have been very active in trying to help me with many emails going backwards and forwards. I told them to post this as a workaround. I am running cyberlink dvd ultra on a vista 64 bit athlon based pc with the xbox external drive. Works like a charm
